Another option north of Downtown is Playa 88, a public beach recognized with Blue Flag certification.
Blue Flag standards consider factors such as water quality, environmental management, safety, and services, making this an interesting option for travelers who prefer a more organized public beach environment.
As always, actual sea conditions can change from day to day.
Choose Playa 88 if: services and a more structured public beach experience matter to you.
